Professional Development /Administrative Training Program - Updated IPC Practices
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Amala College of Nursing, organized a Professional Development/Administrative Training Programme on "Updated IPC Practices" on 30 July 2026 at 3:00 PM in Amala Boulevard. The session was delivered by Dr. Dinu M. Joy, HIPC Administrative Officer and NABH Assessor, AIMS. The programme aimed to strengthen participants' knowledge of the latest Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) practices and promote adherence to current healthcare standards. The resource person discussed updated IPC guidelines, standard precautions, hand hygiene, biomedical waste management, and strategies for preventing healthcare-associated infections. The interactive session enhanced participants' awareness and reinforced the importance of maintaining patient safety and quality healthcare through effective IPC practices.
