The Child Health Nursing Department of Amala College of Nursing, along with 6th Semester BSc Nursing students, conducted an awareness program on Friday, 31st July 2026 at 10:00 AM at Pediatric OPD as part of World ORS Week 2026: July 25-31.

The event themed _"A Simple Solution for a Healthier Future"_ focused on promoting ORS use in every home. Activities included an awareness and demonstration session on preparing homemade ORS for parents and caregivers to prevent dehydration due to diarrhea, and a role play emphasizing "ORS for Today, Health for Tomorrow." The program aimed to educate the community on safe and effective hydration solutions.
