ACON aspires to spread its wings globally throughout the establishment of its international students TRILOKAH-. Trilokah is an initiative which serves as a platform for international students exchange and faculty exchange.
The major objectives of TRILOKAH are
- To serve as a platform for communication of nurses and nursing students from all over the world
- To engage in collaborative research among nursing students in various countries
- To provide guidance in international migration
- To enhance the career prospects of Amalites internationally
Activities
Trilokah was conceived as a novel concept of IQAC and started functioning from December 2020 , the functioning is still in its nascent stages due to the covid 19 pandemic , the major activities carried out till now are
- HOPE study India- an international collaborative research project including students of university of Toronto Canada and faculty of ACON, Amala institute of medical sciences and students and faculty of AIMS of Bhopal
- Orientation classes for Amalites by International faculty
- Orientation to various migration procedure by alumni as well as agencies
Future plans of Trilokah
- To facilitate international student exchange programs
- To promote collaborative research
- To create collaborative Addon courses
- Promoting multicultural, multilinguistic virtual classrooms with both international students and faculty
- Enhancing the spirit of transcultural nursing through student exchanges
- To enhance the visibility of Amalities globally
