The curriculum committee shall serves as an institutional body responsible to oversee the overall design, management, integration, evaluation and enhancement of a coherent and coordinated curriculum responsive to the evolving needs of the community, thus ensuring that the students learn the requisite knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviors to progress to a professional nurse.

Functions

Oversee the development, implementation and revision of the curriculum and make recommendations for teaching learning materials and resources.
Review programs and courses in a systematic manner on a regular basis in order to ensure that they are kept current, relevant and on track as per the master plan.
Review outcome analysis and course feedback to make recommendations for revision of curriculum for improving the academic standards and student performance.
Ensure that institutional curriculum is consistent with the university and central council guidelines, regulation and standards.
Enhance progressive growth of students by adding and expanding courses and programs offered by the college.
Provide faculty with suggestions for local best practices in teaching, learning, and evaluation.
Plan, recommend and organize continuing education programs for knowledge and skill enhancement of the staff.
Participate in the program review and accreditation process.
