Functions

1.
Leadership and Governance: The Executive Board provides leadership and governance for the IEDC, setting strategic goals, establishing policies, and ensuring adherence to the mission and vision of the cell.

Program Development: They design and develop programs and initiatives aimed at fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among students, faculty, and staff at the College of Nursing.
3.
Event Planning and Coordination: Organizing various events such as workshops, seminars, hackathons, ideation sessions, and networking events to stimulate creativity, inspire entrepreneurial thinking, and provide practical guidance to aspiring entrepreneurs.
4.
Resource Management: Managing resources including finances, infrastructure, and human capital required for the smooth functioning of the IEDC and implementation of its programs and activities.
5.
Mentorship and Guidance: Providing mentorship, guidance, and counseling to students interested in entrepreneurship, offering support in idea development, business planning, and navigating the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
6.
Networking and Collaboration: Building and nurturing relationships with industry experts, entrepreneurs, investors, government agencies, and other stakeholders to create opportunities for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and access to resources for aspiring entrepreneurs.

Skill Development: Conducting training sessions, workshops, and skill development programs to equip students with entrepreneurial competencies such as creativity, problem-solving, communication, leadership, and business management skills.

Incubation Support: Offering incubation support to student startups by providing access to workspace, infrastructure, mentorship, legal guidance, funding opportunities, and networking connections to help them develop and scale their ventures.

Promotion and Outreach: Promoting awareness about entrepreneurship and innovation initiatives through various channels including social media, newsletters, website updates, and campus-wide communication to encourage participation and engagement from the college community.

Evaluation and Feedback: Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of programs and activities implemented by the IEDC, gathering feedback from stakeholders, and making necessary adjustments to continuously improve and enhance the impact of the cell.

Compliance and Reporting: Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and guidelines governing entrepreneurship and innovation activities, and providing periodic reports on the progress, achievements, and outcomes of the IEDC to college management and other relevant authorities.
